Playbook: Safety

Purpose: To provide a document on being safe while in clients home and during operations within the company.

Core Value: Safety over expedience – every decision is made with our “safety first” and “employee-safety” lens.

We stay alert at all times on the job site.

Technicians should be alert at all times on the job site, by only using one airpod or earbud while listening to music, not having distracting conversations on the phone or watching videos on phones.

We wear Protective Personal Equipment (PPE): Gloves, Facemasks and Booties to ensure we keep ourselves, family, clients and coworkers healthy. (facemasks are optional unless it is a request from the client)

We decline to work with clients who are a threat to body, mind, and soul. 

If a technician is in a potentially dangerous situation, the Operations or Field manager should be contacted immediately from the technician.

We don’t clean when road conditions are unsafe.

We follow our inclement weather policy.

We don’t climb on high ladders, or enter a home with unsafe pets, or perform safety-risk requests

We only step on a 2 step ladder.

We do not clean pet or human waste including urine.

We keep our equipment and supplies clean and disinfected to prevent cross-contamination.

Technicians should keep their equipment clean and disinfected by using the disinfectant after each cleaning.
